The main aims of the course are to revise, by study and practice, the use of tenses and other basic structures of the language; to extend the existing knowledge of vocabulary, idiom forms and patterns;to develop recognition and use of different kinds of English in varying situations; and to improve the students's ability to speak and write effectivley.
The course is divided into 21 programmes, presented in two volumes. Each programme consists of 3 texts, notes on grammar and idiom, practice materials, drills and written self correcting exercises. All the texts and drills and some of the practice materials are recorded on the CDs. Full study instructions are included
